If You Could Change One Thing
It all begins with one change. If you could change only one thing in your health journey it should be to eat bread made with fresh milled flour. Hear me out! I have been gluten free and have not eaten bread in almost 2 years. I do not have Celiacs disease. This was a choice I made after educating myself about my thyroid issue and taking the advice of top doctors in this field. If you have been diagnosed with Celiacs disease this change is most likely not for you. If you have Celiacs disease this should be a decision that you make with your doctor. People with gluten sensitivities have been able to eat fresh milled flour with little to no issues, but that will be something you will have to decide for yourself.
Let me explain why you should be using fresh milled flour. In the late 1800s, everyone was milling their own flour and baking their own bread. Then the rolling steel mill was invented. This allowed people to buy flour instead of milling their own. When the grain was being milled into flour, the bran and germ was removed. The bran and the germ are where all the nutrients are located. The bran and the germ contain vitamin E and 40 out of 44 essential nutrients. This became a huge health problem leading to terrible diseases. The government then had to “enrich” or “fortify” the flour but only adding 3 of the 40 nutrients back in. As you can see, this immediately led to serious health conditions. This enriched flour continues to plague our nation fueling the decline in every person’s health that ingests it. I truly believe this and have witnessed the change in my family’s health as well as my own. Jesus said that He is the bread of life, so how can bread be bad for us? I want to share how easy this change is and how you can make it work for you and your family. I will be addressing this under Fresh Milled Flour.
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life, He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never by thirsty. John 6:35 NIV
